Registering is simply a matter of calling and or contacting the Commissioner in any of the following ways:
1. Calling the land line NO MORE LAND LINE PHONE Please call or Text using the cell phone # 917-763-2280 and leaving a text message or a voice mail;
2. Calling the cell phone 917-763-2280 if no answer please leave a voice mail. Quite likely the commish will pick up the phone call;
3. Texting the commish at 917-763-2280;
4. e-mailing the Commissioner at justforkickssoftball@verizon.net
In all 4 communication methods please indicate an entry of a team in the league for any of the upcoming Spring/Summer or Fall Seasons. The “General Information Sheet” must be completed with all vital contact information for that team. At a later date, the team manager can decide in which division his team will be playing in. This selection process usually occurs at the team meeting in which all team managers are invited.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
A deposit secures a place in the league that the team has decided to join. Without a deposit there is no guarantee that a team will be given an opportunity to play softball in the league. The deposit must be given prior to the first meeting.
All league fees must be paid in full prior to any schedule released to a team. One half (1/2) of the fee can be given as a deposit when completing the General Information sheet. The other half (1/2) of the fee is usually collected at the first and only Team Managers’ Meeting.
For the Spring/Summer Season both Sundays and Week Nights there will be 0nly one (1) meeting.The time for the first Sunday League meeting has already been posted. The time for the first Week Night meeting has been posted.
For the Fall Season, both Saturdays and Sundays, one or two (1 or 2) meetings will take place. These meetings in the past have been held in mid July so that proper preparations can be made. The times and locations to be determined later.
In each of the above meetings the manager and one other member of the team is invited to the meeting.
Missing the meetings is no excuse for not knowing any information about the league, procedures and/or the rules.
